Data Engineer (f/m/x)
+2 years experience | Passionate Data Pipeline Guru

As a Data Engineer (m/f) at deepset you will work on the frontier of Machine Learning and craft modern, scalable data pipelines. Our projects are highly diverse but have one thing in common: Our clients have mountains of text data that wants to be processed by spezialised ML / NLP models to solve their business needs.

Examples: extracting key information from research articles, detecting money laundry or information enhanced meeting conversations.
Your Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of our data processing tech stack
  • Design and build scalable pipelines that transform text into input for ML models
  • Work closely with our ML Engineers on identifying and extracting features from the data
  • Design and build scalable, production-ready environments for our Machine Learning models (APIs, CI, Infrastructure)

Your Profile
  • 2+ years experience of having worked in a related field
  • University degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification
  • Expert in Python and Docker
  • Strong track record of building large scale data pipelines
  • Experience with Git, AWS, container orchestration and deployment
  • Experience with Machine Learning/NLP or the motivation to learn about it
  • Pragmatism, sense of responsibility and independent work style

Machine Learning Engineer (f/m/x)
2+ years experience | Cutting-edge NLP Models

As a Machine Learning Engineer (m/f) at deepset you will work on the frontier of Machine Learning and craft cutting-edge NLP models building upon latest research and open-source. Our projects are highly diverse but have one thing in common: Our clients have mountains of text data that wants to be processed by specialized ML / NLP models to solve their business needs.

Examples: extracting key information from research articles, detecting money laundry or information enhanced meeting conversations.
Your Responsibilities
  • Find and design appropriate NLP models for individual client problems (e.g. NER, Document embeddings or Summarization ...)
  • Implement, train and tune NLP models
  • Build NLP specific preprocessing pipelines (e.g. tokenization, lemmatization …)
Your Profile
  • 2+ years experience of having worked in a related field
  • University degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification
  • Expert in Python and at least one DL framework (e.g. Tensorflow, PyTorch or Keras)
  • Expert in ML / DL / NLP methods and recent model architectures (e.g. LSTM, CNN, Transformer …)
  • You do not only understand the above methods "in theory", but also know how to implement them efficiently
  • You enjoy reading latest ML papers and staying up-to-date with relevant trends in the field
  • Experience with Git, Docker and production-ready ML
  • Pragmatism, sense of responsibility and independent work style
